Global Organic Textile Standard(GOTS)

We take pride that all our products meet the GOTS standard which is the top certification for ecologically and socially responsible practices throughout every step in the supply chain. It is recognized as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers.

The aim of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is to define requirements to ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.

Finished or processed textile products sold in the U.S. that imply or leave the consumer to believe that the final product is certified organic must meet either the USDA organic regulations or GOTS.

Organic Content Standard (OCS)

The fabric selected for these products have been verified by OCS to confirm the presence of organic material. It also  tracks the flow of the raw material from its source to the final product.

The OCS 100 relies on third-party verification to confirm whether a final product contains the accurate amount of a given organically grown material. OCS allows for transparent, consistent and comprehensive independent evaluation and verification of organic material content claims on products. OCS 100 covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trading and distribution of a product that contains at least 95 percent certified ‘organic’ materials. It can be used as a business-to-business tool to give companies the means to ensure that they are selling quality and getting what they pay for.
